Amazing Summers, Lifelong Friends
Give your child a summer full of fun with Better Days’ Summer Camps! We give campers the opportunity to be active, think creatively and discover new friendships that will last a lifetime. Here at Better Days we offer two different types of summer camps, a traditional summer day camp program for children between the ages of four and eleven and a program called Teen Travel, which is designed for young adults between the ages of twelve and fourteen. Daily activities are centered on The Arts, Outdoor Education, Swimming, Sports and Team-building. With our exciting and varied programming, your child will never be bored. For more than ten years, Better Days’ has provided children with a fantastic opportunity to play and learn in the great outdoors in Manhattan. Located on the Upper West Side is a traditional day camp program that includes sports and recreation, visual and performing arts, recreational field trips, and an outdoor education component that includes environmental studies, orienteering and much more.
Camp Dates
This camp operates from July 02 - August 24, 2012. Online registration is open from April 15 – June 1, 2012. To enroll after the online registration period is over, please download our paper application and apply in person on-site.

Summer Camp will be held at the following locations as space permits.

Ages
This camp is intended for ages 4 to 14. Children are grouped by age and activities are tailored specifically to each age group. For our pre-K campers we offer a Pre-Camp Program. In this program the camp day is designed to meet the social, emotional, and physical needs of our Junior Campers.

Program Times
Families are welcome to drop their children off in the mornings between 8:30-9:00am and afternoon pick up is from 5:00-5:30pm. For an additional fee, you may sign up for Early Drop off Service (8:00am-8:30am) or Late Pick Up Service (5:30pm-6:00pm). Camp for children attending summer school will be from 1:00pm until 6:00pm.

License Information
This camp is licensed by the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and is inspected twice yearly. The inspection reports are filed at the Bureau of Food Safety and Community Sanitation. If you have questions, please contact Better Days Before & After at 347-879-5201.
